A survey, made by women’s lifestyle site Mojomums, claimed average women can take 409 days to get back her figure and sex drive after giving birth to babies.
The poll taken among 1,000 British mothers came up with the result that women can need one year, one month and two weeks to get back her pre-pregnancy self.
The mothers in the survey accepted that they required at least an average of five months longer than what they expected for the recovery.
10% of the women even claimed they took as long as two years for the recovery, whereas 15% said they never got back the pre-pregnancy drive.
The conditions that added to their not getting the drive back included feeling tired, having no time to themselves as they have to take care of the babies and shedding the baby weight.
60% of the women even held their jobs responsible saying the longer they were off work the longer they took to get the drive back.
“Having a baby is a life changing event and you can’t expect to return to the woman you were before children overnight. Mums need time to adapt, try not put themselves under pressure, and resist comparing themselves to others,” proclaimed psychologist Elinor Wilde.
Sally Overhead, the founder of the new Mojomoums site exclaimed, “This survey reveals that mums do find it difficult to get their mojo back and it’s not as easy as you might think. We weren’t surprised to see sex is a big factor but so is work.” She is mother of five children herself.

That’s bad news for all the men!
Yes, its true. My wife always complains of tiredness since we had a baby 4 months ago.
I’m a mother of a 11-month-old son. My life kinda revolves around him and i do get tired with lots of work. Too tired to even think of getting back into shape.
With a baby, life changes completely. Every plan goes for a toss! including husbands! and as women we are blessed with multi-tasking so we end up managing a lot of things. But some issues do take a beating.
