The singing sensation and icon, Madonna celebrated her 54th birthday on 16th of August 2012 and she looked healthier and fitter than ever.
According to Madonna there is no shortcut to weight loss and it’s all about hard work. She refuses to slow down despite her increasing age, “I’m not going to slow down, get off this ride, stay home and get fat!”
Madonna is in her 86-show MDNA world tour and says there is no secret to weight loss and looking young. She maintains her gorgeous body by working out up to two hours a day, six days a week.
The mother-of-four runs, does Pilates and Yoga and lifts weight to keep up her age-defying body and looks. “It’s all about hard work. There is no easy way. If you want to know how I look like I do, it’s diet and exercise and constantly being careful,” she said revealing the secret to her fit and healthy body that would give younger models a run.
In an interview to Harper Bazaar, she said, “To have fun, that’s the main issue. To continue to be a provocateur, to do what we perceive as the realm of young people, to provoke, to be rebellious, to start a revolution.”
Madonna continues to be icon even at the age of 54 and at the pace she is she’s sure to continue to do so for years to come.
